QFX Nepal the REVIEW

OK, lets start this straight! If you are an average Nepali, then it is likely that you have come over the name QFX. QFX!! which no one knows the full form of was founded by 3 people Rajesh Siddhi, Bhaskar Dhungana and Nakim Uddin. Story of QFX dates to back then when there was no suitable and proper place for watching movies. And guess what, they struck the iron when it was hot.
And then, the rest is all history. However, many people seem to be having various issues with QFX, mainly with its ticket pricing strategy and of course never to miss, its food price.
The smart ticket pricing technique of QFX that charges lower price for morning shows and higher for evening ones and also more higher during weekends. Yeah its a smart strategy in deed, but they pushed it way too far. The price variation is way too far. The ticket price ranges from as low as Rs. 190 to a staggering Rs. 410 and that's not considering that QFX charges more for 3D movies. Imagine the price gap out here. Maybe that's why I have never been to the evening and night shows.
However, I see this as a very smart strategy, targeting the groups of multiple people. The normal people or let's say the small job holders of jobless ones or students; morning shows with cheaper price. The days will be normally for those people having off days except for weekends of course. Finally, the evening and night for corporate people who have their own vehicle, work on office a full day and seek out to have fun after office. Fact to be considered: evening and night shows for those people who can afford the price.
Price is not the only factor out here. Most of us might be well known with a fact that, "a typical theater makes most of its profit from selling popcorn and other food items rather than from actually selling the tickets." You go on QFX and you see that fact being proved. Cheapest item on list: mineral water (half liter) for Rs. 45. Comparing this with other shops outside that charges just Rs. 25 for a LITER of water its approximately a double! Again, irony out here is, you order a fruit juice worth Rs. 35 and what you get if a real juice worth Rs. 20.
To clear out, I am not here to complain about the pricing policy of QFX. In fact, from the marketing perspective, its quite a great strategy and its kind of a like average strategy that matches profit along with customer satisfaction.
Taking about me, as a movie lover, QFX have always been my great destination for watching movies and although there had been many of other alternatives, the quality of movie and service provided at QFX is far compared to other ones. So, QFX will always be mine ultimate choice of movies.
