English: A Wonder in Itself

English is the only worldwide spoken language. More than half of the world’s books and three quarters of international mails are in English. Most works of literature are written and translated in English. However, it is the truth that English is an amazing language because words and phrases in English are unusually made.

There is neither pine nor apple in pineapple. The word egg-apple says nothing about egg, which means brinjal. In the case of hamburger, there is no ham. Sweetmeats are not kind of meat, it is a kind of candy and sweetbreads are not a kind of bread and it is meat. Boning rings are not round like a ring rather they are square. Guinea pig is not a kind of pig it is a person or animal used in an experiment. A writer writes but a finger not fings, a grocer not groces and hammers not ham.

In the case of forming plural, plural of mouse is mice; louse is lice, what is the plural of house? Is it hice? It’s not. Plural of tooth is teeth, foot is feet, goose is geese but neither moose becomes meese nor booth becomes beeth.

A horse hair mat is made of hair of horse, came’s hair coat is made of the hair of camel, what is the mohair coat made of? If a vegetarian eats vegetable, what does humanitarian eat? Does he eat human? No, a humanitarian speaks the voice of humanity. A slim chance and a fat chance are similar in meaning, but a wise man and a wise guy are opposite in meaning. In which a wise man means scholar and wise guy means stupid. In the case of overlook and oversee, overlook means neglect or ignore or supervise anything. Lot and few are opposite in meaning but quite a lot and quite a few are similar in meaning.

When stars are out they are visible but when lights are out they are invisible, a king rules a kingdom but a queen does not rule queendom. So, it is a fact that English is a crazy language. In English, blackboards can be blue or green, blackberries are green and then red before they ripe. Even is blackberries were really black and blue berries really blue, what are strawberries, gooseberries, raspberries? If a weight lifter lifts weight, what does a shop lifter lift? Does he lift a shop?

In terms of Amazon Web Services (AWS), scaling refers to adjusting of computing resources in order to maintain performance of application hosted under AWS. It is simply done by increasing the number of EC2 instances or also by scaling additional resources for other AWS services. With AWS scaling, your application will always have the right resources at the right time. There are mainly three types of scaling that you can do on AWS namely; Reactive Scaling, Proactive Scaling and Predictive Scaling . Reactive Scaling (AWS Auto Scaling) AWS Reactive Scaling, or also called Auto Scaling simply monitors your applications and adjusts its capacity to maintain optimum performance at supposedly minimum cost. It is free of cost and  can easily be setup with less hassle. With the AWS Auto Scaling service, you can configure one unified scaling policy per application source. Then, you can add each scalable resource that supports your application to the scaling plan, and define th...

OK, lets start this straight! If you are an average Nepali, then it is likely that you have come over the name QFX. QFX!! which no one knows the full form of was founded by 3 people Rajesh Siddhi, Bhaskar Dhungana and Nakim Uddin. Story of QFX dates to back then when there was no suitable and proper place for watching movies. And guess what, they struck the iron when it was hot. And then, the rest is all history. However, many people seem to be having various issues with QFX, mainly with its ticket pricing strategy and of course never to miss, its food price. The smart ticket pricing technique of QFX that charges lower price for morning shows and higher for evening ones and also more higher during weekends. Yeah its a smart strategy in deed, but they pushed it way too far. The price variation is way too far. The ticket price ranges from as low as Rs. 190 to a staggering Rs. 410 and that's not considering that QFX charges more for 3D movies. Imagine the price gap out here. Maybe ...
